Candle care

A few simple habits for evenings you want to linger.

  1. Never leave a flame unattended

Blow the candle out before you leave the room or go to sleep.

  2. Trim the wick before each light

A short, trimmed wick burns cleaner and steadier.

  3. Give the first burn time

Let the melted wax reach the edges of the container before blowing it out, so it burns evenly next time.

  4. Keep it clear

Place candles on a stable, heat-safe surface, away from drafts, curtains, pets, children, and anything that can catch fire.

  5. Know when to stop

Stop using the candle when only a thin layer of wax remains at the bottom.
